Villa Pallavicino
Opening on March 15
Children and adults, the park of Villa Pallavicino awaits you.
The Park of Villa Pallavicino is located in Stresa in front of Lake Maggiore, a few hundred meters from Square Marconi “Imbarcadero” and from the centre. The property has a convenient visitor reserved parking area, located in front of the entrance. Inside the park there is the homonymous nineteenth-century villa in neoclassical style, created as a private residence and transformed into a wildlife park open to the public in 1956. The wonderful panorama frames the sumptuous botanical garden, which in spring shows all its glory with the blooms.
The Park of Villa Pallavicino offers peace and tranquillity for those people, who want to stroll through the avenues in a very rich and wonderful flora such as: larch, magnolia, ancient chestnut, rhododendron and red beech.
Bar, restaurant, souvenir shops, equipped picnic areas, playground are available for visitors. Guided tours and educational meetings are available upon booking. Since 2006 Parco Pallavicino has been the seat of the Wildlife Recovery Centre for treatment and reintegration into nature of injured or sick wild animals and since July 2017 it has become part of the Borromean tourist circuit.
Parco Pallavicino is open every day from March 15 to 2 November 2025.
